Its actually a privilege that my first brand of the month is a brand that is more than just that because its a movement of positivity bringing people together and moving forward with mental health battles.

The opening statement makes its mark from the start...."BORN 2 BLEED was born from STRUGGLE with a burning passion for HEAVY MUSIC and PERSONAL GROWTH."

Founded by Stephen Brown he created a brand, a clothing range inspired by his love of hardcore music including bands like Hatebreed and his personal struggle to overcome breaking his back in March 2000 and also developing chronic knee pain in 2012 which lasted for 5 years. 

This in itself created the hardest battle, a battle faced by many called the MENTAL struggle. 

From his struggle he stayed positive and moved forward,  focusing on personal growth, growth that was fueled by self belief and heavy music. From this the metal inspired brand Born 2 Bleed was formed, selling awesome motivational, metal inspired merchandise. But more than this it created a community. A community of like minded people who in many different ways have faced struggle.

My own personal story is on the site and it was only after Stephen reached out to me that I decided to let the demons out. I have never released what was inside in any real way and this is a pivotal moment in my own life where I felt relieved, empowered and positive what I can achieve moving forward. 

Within the website there are many pages of struggle but with a clear outcome of moving forward positively through the love of music, the gym, mma and collectively been part of a brand where its more than just a label. Its a statement of intent.
